Terms of Service
This page provides a reviewable structure for Mapgram's Terms of Service. It is intentionally incomplete where a product or legal decision has not been confirmed.
About Mapgram
Mapgram is an application for saving places you want to visit, keeping track of places you have visited, and organizing those places on a personal map.
Accounts and authentication
Use of the current Mapgram app requires an account created through Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. Mapgram uses Supabase to authenticate accounts and store application data.
Eligibility
Mapgram is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old.
Saved information
Mapgram allows a user to save a place and optionally add an external post URL, tags, a note, and a “want to go” or “visited” status. The current product restricts this saved information to the account owner.
Google Maps features
Mapgram includes Google Maps features and content. By using those features and content, the user agrees to be bound by the then-current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. Google's processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Account deletion
A user can initiate permanent account deletion from the Profile section of the Mapgram app. The deletion process asks the user to sign in again to verify their identity before deletion is completed.
Privacy
Information about how Mapgram processes account, saved-place, and location information is provided in the Privacy Policy.
Operator and contact
Mapgram is operated by Taiki Koyama. Questions about these draft Terms can be sent to mapgram@tech-takolab.com.
